Part 4 of a 5 part series. This is the only psalm designated as a psalm of thanksgiving and was used in the temple with the sacrifice of praise. It exhorts us to serve the Lord with gladness because He is God our creator, He owns us and He deserves our worship. This is also called a missionary psalm as it refers to all the nations of the earth, all the inhabitants of the earth hearing about our great God and coming before the Lord.
